We keep the design decision and the construction decision separate, so you are never forced to accept one in order to get the other.
Whichever route you take, the construction side does not change — the same crews, the same schedule, the same warranty, and the same project portal for you and your designer to watch it in.
One contract, one point of contact, from first sketch to final inspection. We produce the drawings and 3D renderings, price them, pull the permits and build it. This is the fastest route when you can picture the finished room but do not want to manage two companies to get there.

Already working with someone? We build to their drawings and finish schedules. We read the floor plans, elevations and cut sheets before pricing anything, flag in writing whatever will not build as drawn, and bring substitutions back to the designer for approval rather than choosing one ourselves. We finished the lower level first: a wet bar under soaring ceilings, a wine room built in beneath the stairs, a media lounge and a guest bath. When it was done the same family brought us back for the entire main floor — kitchen, butler's bar, dining room, study and great room. We have completed three projects built to Dovetail Group's drawings, including a luxury basement in Westfield where we were brought in as one of their preferred contractors. Be wary of a contractor who resists working alongside a designer — it usually means they intend to substitute their own preferences for the design you paid for.
